The house had a comprehensive renovation, starting with excavating the foundation. Insulated the exterior with 6" EPS foam and applied waterproofing to enhance its durability. Additionally, installed three new windows in the basement, reframed the main level walls to accommodate new windows and doors and adding new insulation in the cavities. Exterior insulation was also added to the walls for improved energy efficiency. Applied new cedar siding to the exterior.
Furthermore, replaced all windows and doors with brand new ones, reinforced the roof with additional timbers, and installed a new roof. The back and front porches were timber-framed
to enhance their aesthetics and structural integrity.
In the basement, poured a new 2" slab with electric radiant heating for added comfort and also framed new interior partitions, updated the electrical and plumbing systems, and
completely renovated all bathrooms and kitchens. The tiles in the bathrooms and kitchens were installed with electric radiant heating for a luxurious touch.
